Training Tips for the Event
The main components for a successful day are:
- Training and preparation – it is important that all cyclists take part in some form of training before participating in this event.
- Proper equipment – it is important to not only make sure you have the right equipment for the day but to also check equipment before hand to make sure it is working properly. Check out our equipment list within the ‘On the Day’ section.
- Proper nutrition – a few days before the event hydrate your yourself with water and start adding carbohydrates to your diet. On the day there will be feed stations throughout the course, however it is important to bring your own water and energy bars.
